IBEW Honors the Life of Sen. Dianne Feinstein

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers President Kenneth W. Cooper issued the following statement on the passing of Sen. Dianne Feinstein:

On behalf of the men and women of the IBEW, I join those mourning the loss of Sen. Dianne Feinstein today.

“As the longest serving female Senator, she leaves behind a groundbreaking legislative legacy that has changed our nation for the better.

“On nearly every issue that matters to working families, from raising the minimum wage, to promoting workplace safety and expanding organizing rights, Sen. Feinstein was a longtime advocate for organized labor and working people, and the IBEW is proud to have supported her throughout her career.

“My prayers are with her family and friends and I join in their grief as we mourn the loss and honor the life of this great American.”
