IBEW President Lonnie Stephenson in Response to President-elect Biden’s Foreign Policy, National Security and Law Enforcement Nominees

IBEW President Lonnie R. Stephenson issued the following statement on President-elect Biden’s Foreign Policy, National Security and Law Enforcement nominees:

“I commend President-elect Biden’s key foreign policy, national security, and law enforcement nominees. Tony Blinken, Alejandro Mayorkas, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Avril Haines, John Kerry, and Jake Sullivan are all experienced and dedicated public servants who agree fully with the president-elect’s vision that U.S. foreign policy must work for all Americans and help rebuild a strong and vibrant middle class. This is a critical moment in our nation’s history. It is incumbent on the U.S. Senate to do its duty and hold hearings on these nominees as soon as possible, so we have a ready and experienced national security team in place on Day One of the next administration.”
