IBEW Statement Recognizing Vietnam War Veterans Day
IBEW International President Lonnie R. Stephenson issued the following statement on the IBEW recognizing Vietnam War Veterans Day:
“Many IBEW members served our nation in the Vietnam War. Some gave their lives. So, we as a union are proud to recognize March 29 as Vietnam War Veterans Day.
“It’s long overdue that we as a nation recognize and respect our Vietnam War veterans for all the sacrifices they made. On behalf of 775,000 active and retired members of the IBEW, I say to all Vietnam veterans, ‘Thank you.’”
