Thousands of Canadian IBEW members are working on the largest hydro project in North America. Workers will lay close to 2,000 kilometers of transmission wire through NewFoundland and Labrador, and also under water, connecting the transmission line to Nova Scotia. The project will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to taking 3.2 million cars off the road each year.
