See that frigid winter landscape? The lineman expertly scaling a pole to perform storm repairs? That’s not just any old snapshot – it’s a perfect example of art in the everyday work of the Brotherhood.
And it was captured by Casper, Wyo., Local 322 member Levi Gossard, who took top honors in last year’s 16th IBEW Photo Contest.
Now, we’re proud to announce a whole new crop of captivating images taken by linemen, electricians, railroad workers and more who entered this year’s competition. And it’s up to you to decide the best of the best.
Starting with a field of about 300 entries, a team of judges has narrowed down the contenders to the top 15 – showcasing how the skilled work of the membership often takes place amid stunning natural beauty and eye-catching situations.
