Offshoring has its rewards

At the 50 firms exporting the most jobs, CEOs were rewarded with higher pay and benefits.  Compensation for those who offshored service jobs increased 46 percent in 2003, compared with an average 9 percent for CEOs at 365 large companies surveyed by "Business Week."  [Institute for Policy Studies and United for a Fair Economy, 8/04]

14 million more U.S. jobs at risk

Between 300,000 and 500,000 jobs have been sent overseas in the last three years and a 2003 University of California report found that 14.1 million American jobs are at risk of outsourcing.  [University of California report, 2003]
