Jimmy Gomez, LA/OC BTC, and an iron worker representative, focusing on Arches, IRA funding, and infrastructure.

Our IBEW Ninth District members are stepping up to advocate for essential priorities that protect our jobs, safety, and retirement security! Top on the list is the preservation of IRA tax credits tied to prevailing wage requirements—ensuring fair compensation and robust training while driving local job growth in renewable energy sectors like solar, wind, and hydrogen.

We’re also fighting against any attempts to tax workers’ health care benefits, which are critical for millions of American families who rely on employer-provided coverage. Our members understand that strong health care plans are hard-won victories that should be defended at all costs.

Additionally, we’re pushing to protect OSHA regulations that safeguard workers in high-risk environments. Ensuring these protections remain intact is vital for maintaining workplace safety and integrity.

Together, IBEW members are advocating for the future of our workforce, prioritizing fair pay, safety standards, and the well-being of all working families! Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪⚡️
