From major television networks like HBO, CBS and PBS to small production companies, the IBEW represents thousands of members who are an integral part of the broadcasting business.

With over 300 collective bargaining agreements, our members are engaged in every aspect of the industry. These highly skilled men and women work at local television and radio stations of every network affiliation throughout North America. The IBEW’s agreement with CBS covers all network news and sports, plus shows like 60 MinutesThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, 48 Hours, The Young and the Restless and The Price is Right.

IBEW technicians are vital to coverage of the vast majority of sporting events in the U.S., including NFL football, Major League Baseball, NASCAR, IndyCar, the PGA Tour, U.S. Open tennis, and NCAA football and basketball. The IBEW has national agreements covering sports with FOX Sports, PGA Tour Entertainment, and CBS.
