The photos entered in the Sixth Annual Photo Contest
reflect the breadth of talent among IBEW members at work.
No one sees the work of the IBEW member with more clarity
than a fellow member.
The brothers and sisters depicted in these and other
photos present a unique perspective through the camera
lens of co-workers.
Judges were Glenda Thomason, IBEW International Representative
in the Utility Department, Bill Burke of Page One Photography,
who took many of the photos at the 36th IBEW International
Convention, and Carol Cipolari, Managing Editor of the
IBEW Journal. They had a difficult task choosing the
best of the more than 300 entries.
Under the rules of the contest, the first place winner
receives $200, second place $150 and third place $100.
Honorable mentions net $50 apiece.
The Journal thanks every contestant for participating.
