IBEW leaders revealed the logo for the IBEW’s 41st International Convention, to be held later this year in San Diego.
Unlike previous years, this logo won’t be seen in just one form, but many. Delegates, alternates and guests will find unique elements of the logo on convention-themed merchandise, animated on digital signage and everything in between.
“This year’s logo, like our industries it depicts, is highly versatile and gives us the opportunity to try new things,” said International President Kenneth W. Cooper. “We hope everyone will be surprised by the ways it gets used to unite us all around the theme of ‘Powering a Brighter Future.'”
With colors and imagery evocative of San Diego’s famous beach culture, the logo incorporates symbols representing the IBEW’s industries. Animated logos will feature even more industry imagery and will be released as the convention approaches.
“This is going to be an exciting year,” Cooper said. “And this is just the start.”
Note: Local unions seeking to use the Convention logo should contact their district offices for guidance.
