International President Kenneth W. Cooper brought a message of resilience and growth to the 2025 Construction and Maintenance Conference in Washington, D.C.
Highlighting the conference’s theme of “Wired for Change,” Cooper called on members to quickly adapt to new challenges. “Our economy is hungry for a new generation of electrical workers,” Cooper said, noting the rapid increase in power demand from data centers and new manufacturing.
With that new demand comes a huge opportunity for the union to grow. “We’re on track now for 2025 to be the best year ever,” Cooper said.
