Railroad
The IBEW Railroad Department represents electrical workers on North America’s freight, passenger and commuter rail systems.
The department handles national negotiations with freight railroad companies and assists the railroad system councils and local unions with their independent bargaining.
Department representatives attend regular meetings with the Railroad Safety Advisory Committee and its working groups on rail safety issues with the Federal Railroad Administration.
