A total of a 1,957 delegates registered for the 41st International Convention through Sept. 20, according to the Credentials Committee report presented Sept. 21 by International Executive Committee Chair Joseph P. Calabro.
The delegates represent 574 local unions with a membership of 691,241, according to the committee.
Those numbers are an increase over the number of first-day delegates during the 40th International Convention in Chicago, which reported a total of 1,639 delegates from 515 local unions representing 597,670 members.
The convention adopted the committee’s initial report. Calabro said the numbers will be updated as necessary throughout the convention.
