Lindell Lee, Local 124, Kansas City, Missouri: It is, indeed, an honor to place in nomination a member who has served this Brotherhood for 36 years, my friend and brother, William C. "Bill" Eads. Bill has organized in all branches of the Brotherhood. Today, many of you in this audience, regardless of what part of the country you’re from, know Bill, as he was probably one of the organizers who brought you into this Brotherhood.

Vice President William C. Eads: Throughout the years I have always had the support of a lot of friends, members all over the country, my local union, people I’ve met on the road, locals I’ve serviced. Some people have always meant a lot to me. And one of those is up here, Vincent O’Reilly (senior executive assistant to the International President). Jack Moore, another very good friend, has guided me. I’m honored to be the Vice President of the Eleventh District, and thank you.
