International Executive Council Chairman Christopher Erikson provided a supplemental report of the convention’s Credentials Committee.
As of the close of registration on Monday, May 9, the committee reported that 1,724 delegates from 539 local unions had registered and were present for the convention, representing a total membership of 605,535.
The convention adopted the Credentials Committee’s supplemental report. Erikson said that the committee’s findings will continue to be updated throughout the convention as necessary.

Castroville, Calif., Local 234 Business Manager and Chairman of the International President’s Report Committee Abraham Adams presented the report of his committee and moved for its adoption by the 40th International Convention.
Delegates voted to adopt the report, which outlined the steps taken by IBEW leadership to ensure the prosperity of IBEW members and the continued growth of the union.
