IBEW Joins The Battle Against Diabetes

Each Fathers Day weekend the Dollars Against Diabetes campaign is sponsored by the AFL-CIOs Building and Construction Trades Department. IBEW members across the continent pitch in to help. Among them, as always, were the staff of the IBEW International Office in Washington, D. C., who were out in force, to help carry out this union tradition of collecting money to help fight the disease.

All it took were some buckets and a few hours and a generous spirit for this group to collect $2,225, which will go towards research to accelerate the efforts for finding a cure for diabetes.
