 Avaya Update #7 Wednesday, May 14 Avaya presented proposals on funding for the Alliance as well as proposals for all current Joint Committees. There was limited discussion after the presentations. The Operations subcommittee met with the CWA to structure proposals regarding the Variable Workforce Agreement, certification and other issues that the IBEW and CWA will be jointly proposing to the company. We are scheduled to meet tomorrow morning across the national table; subcommittee meetings will follow. Seventeen more days until the contract expires. Let Avaya management know you expect them to get off the dime and bargain for a fair contract.
