In September labor union leaders and members from across the state
Joining the gathering of labor representatives and Democratic Party officials at Lakeview Resorts in Morgantown, West Virginia, were some 20 IBEW members from Clarksburg Locals 2357 and 596. "Everyone thanked Senator Jay Rockefeller for his true commitment to working men and women, his hard work for military veterans, and his concern for our elderly and retirees," said Local 2357 Vice President Frank Becker. "People just wanted to thank Senator Rockefeller for his 18 years of loyal Senate service to all working people and show support for his reelection," Becker said. With the support of union labor and working people in West Virginia, Sen. Rockefeller handily won reelection November 5, 2002, to a fourth term in the U.S. Senate.
