Convention delegates on Sept. 22 approved the report of the Financial Committee, which is chaired by Providence, R.I., Local 99 Business Manager Joe Walsh. Vancouver, British Columbia, Local 213 Business Manager Jim Lofty is the committee’s secretary.
The committee reported on issues relating to convention expenses and delegate reimbursement, and also reported that it had reviewed the secretary-treasurer’s latest financial reports, especially those relating to the proposed per capita increase. The committee recommended its passage to maintain the highest level of service.
The report was approved by the delegates.
