A total of 2,028 delegates registered for the convention through Sept. 21, according to the Credentials Committee supplemental report presented Sept. 22 by International Executive Council Chair Joseph P. Calabro.
The delegates represent 597 local unions with a total membership of 696,572. That continued the increase over the 40th International Convention in Chicago, where 1,724 delegates were reported registered on the second day, representing 539 local unions and 605,535 members.
The convention adopted the Credentials Committee’s supplemental report. The numbers will be updated as necessary throughout the convention, Calabro said.
