RETIREES CLUB OF L.U. 666, RICHMOND, VAOur officers elected in 2002 are Pres. Ralph Dent, Vice Pres. Donald Phillips, Treas. Conley Bodsford, Sec. Aubrey Hall and Sgt. at Arms Blackie Murray. We thank Clyde Mallory, Tommy Stone and Dick Johnston for their many years of hard work and dedication to our club. We are now averaging 63 members per meeting, with a high of 89. It was decided to settle on two locations that could accommodate our clubalternating between the Imperial Plaza on the north side and the Kings Korner Restaurant on the south sidewith two picnics in the summer. Some of our highlights this year were a patriotic speech by Clarence E. Whitely at our July meeting. Several of our members helped with the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in October 2002, and 50 of our members took a bus trip to the Music Theatre of Williamsburg in November 2002 to see the Christmas Program. Asst. Bus. Mgr. James "Bubba" Gillend gave us a talk on our locals history, displaying boards that list all of our retired members and their dates of service to the IBEW. Aubrey Hall, P.S.
