Ryle J. Carl III, Local 1116, Tucson, Arizona: I stand before you today to place in nomination a person that I call friend and brother, William H. Turner, who I believe will do the job as well as Brother William Motley did and will serve the members of the Sixth IEC District.

IEC Member William H. Turner: It is with great pride I accept this nomination. Thirty-seven years ago when I was a first-year apprentice, I didn’t know what the IEC even was, nor did I ever know that I would be standing up here to accept this nomination. I thank the locals and delegates who supported me, and I will support every local and delegate, not only in the Sixth District, but throughout the IBEW.
