 It is with great pleasure that I send you my first report from this local, . . . strongly organized with a membership of 45 which we expect to increase to 55 next meeting. . . . We expect to have Brother Sherman [Grand Secretary] with us to help us along and give us a hand. . . . No. 105 feels the responsibility which is placed upon it; ... but we expect by constantly keeping the seed, which has taken deep root here, well-watered, . . . it shall spring up and its branches reach from the Atlantic to the Pacific; when we shall clasp hands with our Brothers to the south of us in one great Brotherhood, whose influence will be felt from one end of the continent to the other.” (Press Secretary James A. “I take pleasure in addressing you . . . as press secretary of this local, which was organized by Grand Treasurer P.H. Wissinger on April 2.... The stirring up which he gave the electrical workers of Toronto is now having a material benefit. We organized with 13 charter members . . . and have [initiated] 10 more members....
